This manual was developed by CIYOTA with financial support from ECW and other
experts from different technical areas who were involved in its preparation.
This manual has been developed for handling workshops and vocational training. It
provides guidelines and tools for six months of entrepreneurship training for youths and
students in secondary schools. It helps trainers prepare for their sessions, shows them
how to structure the training, and gives instructional guidelines for achieving the
participants’ learning objectives.
The manual consists of 12 topics, plus 10 that will be taught by community experts and
coaches with sustainable businesses.
The training in this manual is interactive with practical life experiences, stories,
games, videos, laughter and ideas that are thought-provoking.
